Slovak public APIs, made usable
Slovakia publishes valuable public data through open APIs, but the official documentation is often fragmented, incomplete, or hard to work with. Slovak API is an independent, community-maintained documentation site built to make those APIs easier to understand and integrate. This is not a government project and has no affiliation with any Slovak public authority. The goal is simple: give developers documentation they can actually build from. Every API covered here follows the same standard: clear data models, field-level reference, worked examples, integration guidance, and the edge cases that matter in production.Explore APIs
Legal Entities (RPO)
Look up companies, entrepreneurs, and public authorities. Retrieve names, addresses, legal forms, statutory bodies, stakeholders, and their change history.
Financial Statements (RÚZ)
Retrieve financial statements, financial reports, and annual reports for Slovak accounting units, including structured table data and attachments.
What you get
Clear data models
Understand how entities, embedded objects, and reference data fit together before you start integrating.
Worked examples
Follow real requests and responses that show the happy path, not just endpoint signatures.
Production notes
Catch the quirks early, including omitted nulls, access rules, pagination details, and update behavior.
Why this exists
Public APIs are only useful when developers can understand how the data behaves in practice. This site focuses on the missing layer between raw endpoint specs and real integration work: structure, context, and the details that usually have to be discovered the hard way.Contributing
